X-Ray Technologist

We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to join our team. This position requires a commitment to high standards of patient care and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

The X-Ray Technologist will be responsible for performing radiographic procedures, ensuring high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. The successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism and compassion while delivering excellent patient care.

Shift Requirements

• Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Weekend Requirements: Every 4th weekend
• On Call Requirements: None

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of current X-Ray experience (Required)
• Active New York State license and ARRT certification (Required)
• Experience with EPIC EMR (Required)
• Experience in a level 1 trauma hospital (Strongly preferred)
• Previous travel experience (Strongly preferred)

Documentation Requirements

• Work History (Required)
• Skills Checklist (current to 1 year) (Required)
• 1 signed supervisory reference from the past two years of employment (Required)
• Current NY State Radiologic Technologist License (Required)
• Active ARRT certification (Required)
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification (Required)
• Driver’s License (Required)

Important Notes

COVID vaccinations are strongly encouraged. All new and returning agency staff must complete training from designated groups for onboarding and clearance starting 1/1/2024.

Requested time off (RTO) during the assignment must be noted and verified at the time of upload; RTO requests after upload will not be approved. A maximum of 5 days of RTO will be accepted, with fewer days preferred.

An orientation of 8 hours will be non-billable.
