Entegris is currently seeking aGlobalTechnology & Innovation SafetyLeadto join ourMaterials Solutions Technology & Innovation Operationsteam. This position will be basedinourAurora, ILfacility.

In this role, you willstrengthen the T&I organization's ability to prevent incidents,eliminaterepeat events, and build a "safety always" culture by driving rigorous root cause analysis (RCA), 8D execution, and global lessons learned implementation. This role plays a critical part in safety by ensuring that incidents, near misses, and observations are systematically analyzed, translated intohigh qualitycorrective actions, and embedded across the globalT&Inetwork.

This role ownsT&Isafety metrics and leadership reporting, ensuring clear visibility into risks, trends, and performance. By proactivelyidentifyingsystemic gaps, driving disciplined corrective action, and enabling digital and AI driven improvements to safety practices, the role ensuresT&Iteamsoperatesafely, consistently, and with a strong learning mindset across all sites.

WhatYou'llDo:

Drive RCA and 8D Excellence and Global Learning (Rigor and Accountability)

  • Standardize and coordinate RCA, 8D, and lessons learned activities forT&Isafety incidents, near misses, and key observations across the globalT&Iorganization.

  • Establish and enforce expectations fordepth ofanalysis to ensure true root causes areidentifiedand not symptoms.

  • Translate findings into scalable lessons learned and ensure they are effectively communicated and adopted across sites.

  • Ensure root cause analysis outputs are systematically linked to updates in SOPs, training materials, and onboarding practices to prevent recurrence.

EnsureHigh QualityCorrective Action Implementation (Prevention and Impact)

  • Track and drive closure of corrective and preventive actions globally,maintainingclear accountability and visibility.

  • Challengelow impactor administrative corrective actions and elevate action quality by promoting stronger, more effective measures that address system level risks through engineering and systemic controls.

  • Ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively,validated, and sustained over time.

  • Ensure actions related to human factors, training gaps, or procedural weaknesses are incorporated into training programs, onboarding, and competency requirements.

Own Safety Metrics and Leadership Reporting (Clarity and Transparency)

  • OwnT&Isafety metrics, dashboards, and reporting processes for leadership updates.

  • Develop clear, audit ready views of incident trends, repeat events, corrective action effectiveness, and leading indicators.

  • Provideregular insights toT&Iand site leadership to enable proactive decision making and risk mitigation.

  • Ensure alignment ofT&Imetrics with broader EHS frameworks whilemaintainingfocus onT&Ispecific risks.

OwnT&ISafety Training, Competency, and Onboarding Systems (Capability and Sustainability)

  • Define andmaintaina globalT&Isafety training and competency matrix aligned to role, hazard exposure, and work activities, ensuring clear requirements for all personnel, contractors, and visitors.

  • Establish standardized processes to assess training effectiveness,identifyskill gaps, and drive targeted upskilling across theT&Iorganization.

  • ReinvigorateT&Isafety onboarding programs to ensure new employees are fully prepared tooperatesafely, with emphasis on hazard recognition, safe work practices, and site-specific risks prior to independent work.

  • Implement mechanisms to verify competency and understanding, not just training completion, particularly for high-risk activities and environments.

Enable a "Safety Always" Culture (Engagement and Influence)

  • Promote an environment where incident reporting, near miss identification, and learning are expected and reinforced.

  • Drive adoption of lessons learned to prevent recurrence of similar events across sites and programs.

  • Reinforce accountability, transparency, and continuous learning following safety events.

  • Drives the organization's safety culture by embedding continuous improvement, encouraging learning from experience, and driving ongoing enhancement of safety practices.

Leverage Digital and AI Enabled Safety Innovation (Forward Looking and Scalable)

  • Identifyand deploy opportunities to integrate AI and digital tools into laboratory and work area safety routines.

  • Enhance how safety data is captured, analyzed, and acted upon through automation and advanced analytics.

  • Partner with digital, IT, and EHS teams to scale solutions that improve hazard identification, trend analysis, and decision support.

  • Drive continuous improvement in safety systems and workflows through technology enablement.

Operate Across a Global, Cross Functional Environment

  • Serve as a central coordination point acrossT&I, EHS, Quality, Operations, and site leadership.

  • Align closely with global EHS partners to ensure consistency, compliance, and shared best practices.

  • Work across regions and time zones to ensure consistent expectations and execution globally.

  • Facilitate alignment on priorities, ownership, and timelines for corrective actions and lessons learned.

Share and Scale Best Practices Across the Enterprise

  • Identify, document, anddisseminatesafety best practices acrossT&Iand into the broader enterprise.

  • Enablecross siteandcross functionallearning to accelerate adoption of proven safety improvements.

  • Act as a connector between sites to ensure learnings are not isolated and are broadlyleveraged.

WhatWeSeek:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, or a related technical field with 5 or more years of experience in an industrial environment

  • Demonstrated experience with RCA, 8D, or structured problem-solving methodologies.

  • Strong analytical capability with experience interpreting safety data and translating into actions.

  • Proven ability to influence without authority in a global, cross-functional environment.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including leadership level reporting.

  • High attention to detail with a focus on data integrity and audit ready outputs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience inT&I, laboratory, or technical operations environments.

  • Core safety knowledge in chemicallaboratoriesand manufacturing environments.

  • Experience owning metrics, dashboards, and executive level reporting.

  • Exposure to digital or AI enabled solutions in safety or operational environments.

  • Track recordof reducing repeat incidents or improving safety performance at scale.

  • Experience working across global teams and regulatory environments.

  • RCA and 8D outputs consistentlyidentifytrue root causes and drive meaningful, sustainable improvements.

  • Corrective actions are high quality, implemented on time, and effective in preventing recurrence.
