What You'll Do
As a Microelectronics Assembler, you will play a key role in the fabrication, assembly, and inspection of precision electronic components used in advanced applications. You will work with specialized equipment, microscopes, and hand tools to assemble high-quality products while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform precision assembly of electronic and microelectronic components using microscopes, soldering equipment, and hand tools.
- Apply thick-film printing processes using screen-printing equipment and specialized conductive, non-conductive, and resistor pastes on ceramic substrates.
- Operate high-temperature furnaces to process and cure electronic materials.
- Conduct detailed inspections and measurements using test and measurement equipment to ensure products meet specifications.
- Read and interpret work instructions, process layouts, drawings, and specifications to determine assembly methods and sequence.
- Select, identify, and integrate components into subassemblies and finished assemblies.
- Perform soldering, epoxy die attach, lead attachment, rework, and other assembly operations as required.
- Accurately document production activities and maintain records using computer-based systems.
- Follow company policies, manufacturing procedures, and safety requirements while maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship.
- Collaborate with team members to continuously improve processes, accuracy, and production efficiency.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of assembly experience
- Strong eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity
- Experience using small hand tools
- Basic computer skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and drawings
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
- High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical training, vocational education, or related certification
