Instructional Assistant - Maple Grove, MN

As a paraprofessional in this role, you will:

Qualifications & Required Experience:

• Must be “highly qualified” by ONE of the following methods:
  • Pass the MN Para Educator Exam (Parapro Exam) and provide documentation of passing score
  • Have a minimum of 60 college credits and provide official college transcripts (diploma/degree not sufficient)
• Ability and willingness to assist with toileting and all aspects of student support
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience working in school-based settings or with high school-aged students is preferred
• Must provide a current resume and highly qualified documentation to be considered

Responsibilities:

• Provide academic, social, and behavioral assistance to high school students under the direction of faculty and licensed staff
• Offer individualized or small group support in the classroom and within wider school settings
• Assist with personal care, including toileting, as part of daily responsibilities
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to encourage student growth
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive environment across various high school sites

Contract Details & Benefits:

• Full-time, Monday to Friday, 32.5 hours per week
• Contract period: Approximately 08/31/2026 through 11/29/2026, with intention for direct hire after initial term
