Step into a rewarding opportunity to empower young learners as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist in a vibrant school setting near Andover, MN. This full-time, full school-year role (37.5 hours per week) starts by supporting Justice Alan Page students and covering an initial maternity leave. As the academic year progresses, your expertise will continue to make an impact by assisting in other school buildings as needed or providing compensatory services for students whose therapy was interrupted.

Your skills will be valued working with elementary caseloads and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality speech-language services within the educational environment. Adaptability is essential, as your assignment may evolve to support varying student needs throughout the school year.

Key qualifications:

  • Current MN State Speech-Language Pathologist license (Active and in good standing)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC)
  • Previous experience in school-based settings or with elementary age caseloads preferred
  • Outstanding communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Strong commitment to supporting student progress and academic success

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy to identified students
  • Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and maintain thorough documentation
  • Collaborate closely with educators, families, and related service providers
  • Adjust service delivery in response to changing student and program needs
  • Support compensatory service provision as required
