Audiologist Audiologist in Cibolo, TX

Make a meaningful impact in the educational community by providing specialized audiological services to students across a school cluster. This contract role offers the opportunity to partner with a supportive team while closely collaborating with itinerant teachers and school staff to ensure students with hearing needs receive the very best care. The primary base for this position is Mission Academy, with some travel to other district campuses for scheduled assessment and troubleshooting sessions. The student caseload spans PreK through 12th grade, with clear support from assigned staff and flexibility in scheduling.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Audiology
• Active ASHA certification (or eligibility for waiver if you hold this certification)
• Valid state license to practice audiology, including licenses for hearing aid fitting and repair
• Successful completion of any required state examinations
• At least five years’ experience in school-based settings or equivalent professional background
• Ability to pass all required fingerprinting and background checks
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive audiological evaluations and ongoing monitoring for students from PreK–12 who are bussed to Mission Academy and Highland High School, as well as districtwide as needed
• Deliver troubleshooting, fitting, and repair of hearing aids and assistive devices
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers to enhance support for students with hearing loss
• Maintain accurate documentation and case notes in accordance with district and state guidelines
• Coordinate schedules and services in partnership with the assigned support staff and district itinerant teachers
