Instructional Assistant - Racine, WI

Make a meaningful impact in the classroom by providing vital support to students as a Special Education Educational Assistant on a full-time contract. Engage in a rewarding role working with elementary students, Monday through Friday, in a collaborative school environment located near Racine, WI.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience as a Paraprofessional, preferably in an educational setting
• Ability to obtain a DPI Paraprofessional Certification (assistance available if needed)
• Passion for supporting students with special needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility and adaptability when working with young learners
• Positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for fostering student growth

Primary Responsibilities:

• Offer dedicated, hands-on support to elementary students as part of their individualized education plans
• Assist in delivering classroom instruction and maintaining a structured, welcoming learning environment
• Support teachers by preparing materials and organizing classroom activities
• Encourage student engagement and provide social and emotional encouragement as needed
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold school policies
• Collaborate with special education and general education staff to ensure each student’s needs are met
