Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience or training as a Paraprofessional or Instructional Aide within a school environment
• Enthusiastic about working with children in grades TK through 5th, including those needing support with toileting or diapering
• Willingness to complete a required paraprofessional training prior to assignment
• Adaptable and responsive to changing needs within different classrooms or age groups
• Reliable transportation—please consider bridge tolls ($8-$10 each way) and the commute when assessing interest

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on support in general education classrooms to encourage academic and social growth
• Collaborate with teachers to implement daily activities and learning objectives
• Offer individual attention to students, assisting with classroom transitions, small group instruction, and personal care when needed
• Foster a supportive, inclusive, and positive learning environment for young learners
• Uphold confidentiality and professional standards at all times

The position runs from August 17, 2026, through June 11, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 32.5 hours a week—choose between two start times to accommodate before or after-school coverage.
