Key Qualifications & Experience Desired:

• Experience as a Paraprofessional, Behavior Specialist, or similar support role in school settings
• Familiarity with academic support, behavior intervention, and individualized support strategies
• Ability to work effectively with students with diverse learning and behavioral needs
• Strong communication skills, working well with educators, students, and families
• Patience, empathy, and a supportive attitude that fosters a positive classroom environment

Core Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers with instructional activities and daily classroom routines
• Support the implementation of behavioral intervention plans under the direction of specialists
• Provide one-on-one or small group academic and behavioral support
• Encourage student engagement and facilitate positive interactions
• Document student progress and communicate observations to teacher and staff teams
• Adapt support based on student Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and 504 Plans
