Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a Paraprofessional in schools near Kenosha, WI for the full 2026/2027 academic year. You'll be working 35 hours per week, with opportunities to serve diverse caseloads at the elementary, middle, or high school levels. Help shape the educational journey for students with special needs, including those with behavioral and intellectual disabilities.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active or pending paraprofessional certification through the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI)
  • Completion of one of the following: associate degree, at least 48 college credit hours, or successful completion of the WorkKeys exam (reimbursement available for WorkKeys)
  • Experience or strong interest in supporting students with intellectual disabilities and behavioral needs
  • Ability to provide a supervisor reference prior to interviewing
  • Strong communication, flexibility, and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Offer classroom support and individualized attention to students, enhancing their learning experience
  • Assist teachers with instructional activities and management of behaviors
  • Implement strategies that promote inclusion and success for students with diverse abilities
  • Work closely with school staff, therapists, and families to facilitate student progress
  • Support students’ emotional and social growth throughout the school day
