Physical Therapist

Whitecap Search Healthcare Partners is seeking a skilled professional to join our outpatient practice in Norwich, CT. This role involves patient assessment, treatment implementation, progress monitoring, patient education, collaboration with healthcare professionals, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Shift & Hours: 5x8 Days Shift
• Patient Assessment: Evaluate patients' physical conditions and develop individualized treatment plans based on their needs and goals.
• Treatment Implementation: Administer therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques to improve mobility, relieve pain, and promote healing.
• Progress Monitoring: Track patients' progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide ongoing support and encouragement.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about the goals and benefits of physical therapy, as well as the importance of at-home exercises and self-care.
• Collaboration: Work with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for patients.

Job Requirements

• Accredited PTA program graduate
• Current state PTA license (or eligibility)
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
