Preferred Qualifications:

• Valid teaching license with an endorsement in Special Education
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a closely related field
• Previous experience working with K–12 students in an educational setting
• Familiarity with developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs
• Positive attitude and commitment to student growth

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and facilitate engaging lesson plans tailored to individual learning goals
• Assess students’ strengths and needs, monitor progress, and adjust instruction accordingly
• Develop, review, and implement IEPs in partnership with multidisciplinary teams and families
• Foster an inclusive classroom climate that supports academic, emotional, and behavioral growth
• Collaborate regularly with classroom teachers, support staff, and administration to promote integration and success
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal special education requirements
• Participate in ongoing professional development and contribute to a positive school community
