Special Education Para Professional in Lynnwood, WA

Make an immediate impact in the lives of students by taking on a contract role supporting elementary and middle school children as a Paraprofessional or Behavior Aide. Working closely with an experienced district BCBA and another Behavior Technician, you'll help create a positive learning environment for students who benefit from specialized 1:1 support.

Key Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree, high school diploma with completion of the ETS paraprofessional exam, or certification as an RBT or CBT for behavior technicians
• Experience supporting children in educational or behavioral settings is highly valued
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt and provide flexible support across different classroom settings

Role Highlights:

• Deliver dedicated 1:1 morning support for an elementary-age student, focusing on academic, social, and behavioral growth
• Rotate as a classroom and program floater in the afternoons, providing assistance where most needed across campus
• Participate in direct instructional support from 2-3pm Mondays through Wednesdays, helping students reach set goals
• Collaborate with behavior professionals to implement intervention strategies and support positive student outcomes
• Commitment runs from May 11, 2026 through June 18, 2026
• Consistent weekday schedule: 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday
