Key requirements:

• Must be designated as highly qualified before submission, meeting ONE of the following:
  • Pass the Minnesota Board Highly Qualified Para Exam (Para Educator Exam)
  • Completed at least 60 college credits (college transcripts required—diplomas and certificates are not sufficient)
• Resume and the highly qualified documentation required for consideration
• Willingness to assist with all support tasks, including toileting, as needed
• Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and follow school-specific protocols
• Strong communication skills and a genuine dedication to supporting students and staff

Key responsibilities:

• Provide instructional, behavioral, and personal assistance to elementary students
• Support teachers in delivering lesson plans and managing classroom activities
• Help ensure a safe, encouraging, and engaging environment for all students
• Work closely with classroom staff and other paraprofessionals to meet student needs
