Rebar Detailer/ Estimator

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Estimate Reinforcing Steel for assigned projects or Detail Reinforcing Steel for assigned projects.

• Review contract drawings and specifications for general requirements, special requirements, and potential problems that may arise on a project.

• Communicate with contractors regarding submittals, change orders, project requirements, and plan clarifications.

• Document and maintain required project files.

• Submit details to contractors in a timely and professional manner or submit estimates to manager.

• Submit details for fabrication or submit estimates to supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Three years experience required .

• Candidates must have knowledge and experience detailing and /or estimating within the rebar industry.

• Knowledge and skill in basic computer skills including word processing and spreadsheet capability.

• Proficiency in RebarCad/AutoCad.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.
