Special Education Para Professional in Sunnyvale, CA

Support high school students as a dedicated paraprofessional in a full-time, contract role running from now through the end of the school year. In this position, you’ll work closely with educators and students in either a one-on-one or classroom environment, providing essential assistance to help students achieve their educational and personal goals.

Key Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a school paraprofessional, instructional aide, or in a supportive classroom role
• Ability to assist students in both 1:1 and group settings
• Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for supporting high school learners
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet diverse classroom needs
• Reliable, collaborative, and organized

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students under teacher guidance in either a one-on-one or full-class setting
• Assist with academic tasks, engagement strategies, and classroom activities
• Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
• Foster student independence and offer encouragement throughout the day
• Support teachers with administrative and instructional tasks as needed
