Key Qualifications:

• Previous paraprofessional experience in a school setting preferred
• Ability to assist students with academic tasks and classroom routines
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Willingness to collaborate closely with teachers and staff
• High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced education a plus
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and show sound professional judgment
• Current paraprofessional certification (if applicable)

Responsibilities:

• Support individual and small groups of students during classroom instruction
• Assist with implementation of lesson plans and classroom activities
• Help students with assignments, projects, and understanding instructions
• Provide encouragement and guidance to foster emotional and academic growth
• Assist teachers in managing classroom behavior and creating a safe environment
• Help prepare materials and organize classroom resources
• Monitor students during non-instructional times (lunch, recess, transitions)
• Document progress or concerns to support student success
