Cable Assembly Technician

Job Duties

• Build wire harnesses and cable assemblies from engineering drawings and schematics
• Work in a manufacturing environment assembling cables at a workstation
• No installation work
• Assemblies are sent to Quality after completion
• Jobs can take anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours depending on complexity

Must-Have Qualifications

✅ 1+ year of cable assembly experience in a manufacturing environment

✅ Ability to read drawings and schematics

✅ Experience using hand tools:

• Crimpers
• Wire strippers
• Basic assembly tools

✅ Experience with:

• Cutting cables
• Stripping cables
• Crimping lugs
• Crimping pins
• Working with connectors
