Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional or classroom aide in a school setting

• Familiarity with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) is a plus
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• Reliable, proactive, and adaptable to daily classroom dynamics

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide dedicated 1:1 assistance to an elementary-aged student, helping support both academic and behavioral goals
• Collaborate with teachers and educational team members to implement instructional activities
• Foster student independence, self-esteem, and engagement within the classroom
• Assist with classroom organization, transitions, and student supervision
• Communicate progress, challenges, and achievements to teachers and support staff
• Uphold safety and well-being of the assigned student at all times
