Position Overview

We are seeking a caring, dependable Speech-Language Paraprofessional to support a virtual Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a school setting. This role provides hands-on support to students during virtual speech and language sessions and works closely with the SLP and school team.

Responsibilities
Support students during virtual speech and language sessions.
Provide in-person assistance during individual and small-group therapy.
Implement activities and strategies directed by the supervising SLP.
Collect basic student data and share observations with the SLP.
Communicate with the SLP, teachers, and school staff regarding student needs.
Help maintain a positive, engaging, and supportive environment.
Assist with scheduling, documentation, and coordination as needed.
Follow school procedures and collaborate with the educational team.

Qualifications
Experience working with children in a school, childcare, behavioral, or educational setting preferred.
Experience with special education, speech/language services, or related support is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patient, reliable, and comfortable working with students with diverse needs.
Comfortable using technology and supporting virtual services.
Ability to work collaboratively with a virtual SLP and school-based team.
