Installation Technician (Per Diem)

Hydraulics Technician 

Position Summary 

We are seeking a motivated Hydraulics Technician to join our team. In this role, you will assist with the installation, service, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of hydraulic systems and components used in heavy-duty equipment and truck builds. This position is ideal for candidates with hydraulics, electrical, or welding experience who are detail-oriented and eager to learn and grow in a hands-on manufacturing environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

Install, inspect, maintain, and repair hydraulic systems and components 

Read and interpret schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and work instructions 

Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on hydraulic and electrical systems 

Assist with assembly and fabrication processes as needed 

Use hand and power tools safely and effectively 

Ensure accurate installations, repairs, and quality workmanship 

Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on schedule 

Maintain a clean and safe work environment 

Preferred Qualifications 

Experience in hydraulics, electrical systems, welding, or related trades 

Basic shop math skills 

Ability to interpret blueprints and technical diagrams 

Familiarity with manufacturing and assembly environments 

Strong attention to detail 

Willingness to learn and take direction 

Good hand dexterity and mechanical aptitude 

Technical certifications in welding, electrical, or hydraulics are a plus, but not required 

Working Conditions 

Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs. 

Frequent standing, bending, and lifting 

Exposure to shop noise, welding, and grinding smoke at times
