PLC Control Panel Wirer

Terrific company is urgently hiring for PLC Control Panel Wirers and Builders! Facility is climate controlled, amazing benefits are offered when hired on permanent, super clean facility, and safety is a top priority!

SHIFT: Monday-Thursday from 5AM-3:30PM, Friday's are over time as needed.

Assemble and wire electrical control panels to electrical schematics.  Panels include Variable Frequency Drive, Soft Start and custom control panels using Programmable Logic Controllers or relay logic.

Responsibilities

 -Read and understand electrical schematics.  Knowledge of schematic symbols, panel components and general wiring practices.                      Familiar with proper sizing of power cabling per the NEC.

-          Hand and power tool operation including drills, jig saws, knockout punches and electric/hydraulic crimpers.

-Computer skills to print wire and component labels

-Retrieve and view component layout photos.

-Assemble components to back pans and enclosures and wire per electrical schematic

Requirements

·  Must be able to read a tape measure

·  Must be detail-oriented

·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·  Work in an industrial area and involves manual labor

·   MUST be able to bend/ lift 50lbs and stand for extended periods

·   Must comply with PPE requirements. 

·   Previous panel builder experience is preferred and a hug plus.
