Starting September 1st, this full-time role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing vital 1:1 assistance to a student with physical care needs. You’ll work closely with an individual who uses a motorized wheelchair and requires toileting support, ensuring they have every opportunity to thrive in their academic environment.

Ideal candidates may have experience as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), special education paraprofessional, or public health aide. If you’re passionate about student care and open to earning your DPI certification upon hire, your skills and compassion are needed here.

Key Qualifications:

• Certification as a CNA or previous experience as a special education aide/para or public health aide
• Ability to provide physical care, including assisting with toileting and mobility needs
• Willingness to obtain DPI certification upon offer
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a positive relationship with students and staff
• Reliable, compassionate, and motivated to support individuals with special needs

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 physical support for a high school student, focusing on mobility and daily care routines
