Key Qualifications:

• Active Delaware Paraeducator Permit (required at time of application; pending applications will not be considered)
• Experience supporting students in a school setting preferred
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
• Willingness to obtain a $85 CBC fingerprinting clearance
• Candidates holding an RBT certification must arrange for their own BCBA supervision outside of school hours if under active certification; RBT title and pay are not applicable in this role

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to classroom teachers in managing instructional and behavioral needs
• Assist with individualized education plans and modifications for diverse learners
• Encourage engagement, model appropriate behavior, and offer guidance to students
• Support students during transitions, activities, and day-to-day routines
• Maintain a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere both in and out of the classroom
• Collaborate closely with teachers, specialists, and staff to ensure student success
