Job Description
Bring your passion for supporting students to a dynamic contract opportunity working full-time (37.5 hours per week) with elementary students in a district near Andover, MN. The assignment begins with providing maternity leave coverage for a Speech-Language Pathologist until Thanksgiving break. Afterward, your expertise will be utilized across school sites where needs arise, ensuring consistent communication and support for students who may have missed services throughout the year.
Key Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in Minnesota (active MN State License required)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Previous experience in a school-based setting, with elementary caseload expertise
- Skilled in delivering compensatory and direct speech-language services
- Adaptable communicator and effective collaborator within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage shifting priorities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language services during faculty leave and transition as needed to other school sites
- Document student progress and provide timely communication to families and staff
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement IEP goals
- Address compensatory services for students who experienced interruptions in therapy
- Participate in team meetings, share observational insights, and contribute to student success plans
