Classroom Aide | New Berlin, Wisconsin

Step confidently into a full-time Special Education Educational Assistant position supporting elementary students in a vibrant and inclusive school environment. This contract role offers the opportunity to work closely with teachers, staff, and families to foster academic and social growth for students who benefit from additional support. With a Monday through Friday schedule, you'll play a key part in delivering an engaging, supportive elementary school experience.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Paraprofessional or in a similar role within a school setting highly preferred
• Ability to work effectively with students requiring special education support
• Must qualify for DPI paraprofessional certification (guidance provided if needed)
• Enthusiasm for supporting children in their academic and social development
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to creating a positive educational experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Support classroom activities and reinforce teacher instruction
• Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Encourage inclusion and participation in classroom and school routines
• Help maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging environment for all students
• Provide one-on-one or small group support as needed throughout the school day
