Qualifications and Skills:

• Genuine patience, empathy, and understanding when assisting students with various disabilities and learning challenges
• Strong oral and written communication abilities for effective teamwork with staff and families
• Experience implementing behavior support plans and positive intervention strategies
• Background in delivering instructional assistance under certified guidance and adjusting materials to fit student requirements
• Versatility and creativity in adapting to classroom changes and unique student needs
• Proven record of maintaining strict confidentiality, professionalism, and ethical standards
• Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills, supporting data-driven monitoring of student progress
• Familiarity with following IEPs and a commitment to helping students meet their academic, behavioral, and social goals

Responsibilities:

• Support students 1:1 or in classroom settings, using teacher directives
• Assist in implementing IEP goals and behavior intervention plans
• Foster an inclusive, supportive environment for learners of all abilities
• Adapt lessons and materials as needed to ensure accessibility
• Monitor and document student participation and progress
• Communicate observations effectively to teachers and specialists
