Position: Educational Technician (Ed Tech)
Schedule: Full-Time | School-Based | Onsite

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Educational Technician (Ed Tech) for a full-time, onsite school-based opportunity in Belfast, Maine.

The selected candidate will work alongside teachers and special education professionals to provide students with individualized academic, behavioral, social, and classroom support.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct support to students throughout the school day
Work with students individually and in small-group/classroom settings
Assist teachers with instructional activities and classroom routines
Support academic, behavioral, social, and functional goals
Assist with implementation of IEP-related supports under appropriate supervision
Document student progress and communicate observations to the educational team
Help maintain a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

At least 1 year of school-based Ed Tech, paraprofessional, special education, or closely related experience within the last 2 years
High school diploma or equivalent required
Must meet applicable Maine Ed Tech certification/authorization and district requirements
Previous experience supporting students with special needs preferred
Strong communication, patience, reliability, and teamwork skills
Ability to work full-time and onsite in Belfast, ME
