Job Description
Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting preschool-age learners as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year! In this position, you'll focus on a caseload of approximately 45-55 preschool students, addressing speech, language, and communication needs to ensure every child has the tools for academic and social success. Key Qualifications:
- Active CDE license and SLP credentials required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC)
- Experience working with pediatric and preschool populations preferred
- Comfort working within school-based or healthcare-related settings
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other specialists
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language concerns
- Develop targeted intervention and treatment plans
- Provide therapy to preschool-aged students, documenting progress
- Collaborate with educators and families for coordinated care
- Participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory standards
This is a full-time contract role beginning as soon as possible and continuing through May 20, 2027. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, totaling approximately 30 hours per week—giving you long weekends for personal pursuits and reconnection.
