Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience as a paraprofessional, teaching assistant, or similar supportive role in a school environment
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and other staff members
• Understanding of primary and/or secondary education practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students
• Patience, flexibility, and a genuine interest in supporting individual student needs
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in education or child development a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers with instructional and non-instructional tasks
• Support individualized and small-group instruction to help meet students’ learning goals
• Provide guidance and support to students requiring additional help, including those with diverse learning needs
• Prepare and organize instructional materials and classroom resources as directed
• Foster a safe and inclusive environment that encourages student participation and positive social interaction
• Help supervise students during classroom activities, transitions, and breaks
• Perform other duties supporting teachers, students, and the overall school community
