Minimum 1+ years Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist experience and ARRT certification required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a key role supporting patient care as an Imaging – Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist. This contract position offers the opportunity to utilize your specialized skills in a dynamic hospital environment, working with state-of-the-art imaging equipment and collaborating closely with medical teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) with Interventional Radiology credentialing.
- Valid state license in Radiologic Technology.
- Minimum of one year experience in Interventional Radiology procedures preferred.
- Strong clinical knowledge of diagnostic and therapeutic IR procedures.
- Excellent communication abilities and patient-focused attitude.
- Capable of working efficiently in high-pressure, fast-paced settings.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist radiologists and physicians during minimally invasive, image-guided vascular and non-vascular procedures.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining techniques and addressing concerns to ensure comfort and safety.
- Operate advanced imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy units and digital radiography systems.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols regarding radiation exposure and infection control.
- Monitor and document procedural information, maintaining accurate patient records.
- Collaborate with nursing and ancillary teams to optimize workflow and ensure patient care needs are met.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and maintain workspaces in compliance with health and safety standards.

$2,662 - $2,816/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
