This exciting contract opportunity offers three positions for compassionate and motivated individuals, working with elementary-aged students to help them thrive academically and socially.

As a key team member, you will collaborate closely with teachers and specialists, providing hands-on assistance in both group and one-on-one settings. You’ll foster a supportive learning environment, helping students build communication, independence, and social skills. Your dedication and encouragement will leave a lasting impact on their educational journey.

Skills & Experience Desired:

  • Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a classroom/educational support role
  • Genuine interest in working with elementary-aged children, especially in special education settings
  • Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, and families
  • Adaptability and reliability in a dynamic school environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist students in Communication and Social Development classrooms, providing individualized or small-group support
  • Help implement instructional and behavioral strategies tailored to each student’s needs
  • Participate in classroom activities, supporting both academic learning and social integration
  • Encourage positive behaviors and model appropriate communication skills
  • Monitor student progress and help track goals in collaboration with the teaching team
  • Foster a safe and supportive classroom environment
