Qualifications & Experience Needed:

• Current and valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist
• Advanced training or certification in Interventional Radiology (IR)
• Experience working as an IR Tech in a hospital or clinical setting
• Strong understanding of imaging principles, sterile technique, and radiation safety protocols
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot complex imaging equipment
• Commitment to patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and assist in a variety of diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures under physician direction
• Ensure the precise operation of imaging equipment and adherence to protocol
• Monitor patients throughout procedures, responding quickly to patient needs and changes
• Maintain a sterile environment and ensure proper documentation of all procedures
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and fellow technologists to optimize workflow and outcomes
• Participate actively in continuing education to remain current with industry advances
• Comply fully with all hospital and regulatory agency requirements

$2,662 - $2,816/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
