Job Description
Step into a dynamic educational setting and support students for the 2026-2027 school year as a dedicated paraprofessional. This full-time contract opportunity runs Monday through Friday, 7:45 AM to 3:30 PM, and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students’ daily lives. Multiple 1:1 PCA roles are available across elementary, high school, and transition/vocational environments, with a mix of behavior and general education caseloads.
Ideal candidates are comfortable providing personal care, including toileting support, and can manage behavior caseloads with confidence and sensitivity. The need is especially strong for those with proven experience supporting students in a school context. Preference will be given to male candidates experienced as Personal Care Assistants.
Key Qualifications:
- Minimum two years of experience working in a school setting
- Demonstrated proficiency as a Paraprofessional or Personal Care Assistant (PCA)
- Comfortable assisting with toileting and personal care tasks
- Prior experience working 1:1 with students, especially those with behavioral needs
- Elementary, high school, and transition/vocational support experience valued
- Ability to commute reliably to Malvern, PA
- Preference for male applicants
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct, individualized support to students in classroom, community, and vocational settings
- Assist with personal care, daily routines, and classroom participation
- Implement behavioral strategies and follow individualized educational plans
