As part of a dedicated team, you’ll work alongside educators to help deliver tailored support that ensures all students can thrive in a positive, structured environment.

This role focuses on providing direct assistance to students within a specialized behavior program, helping them achieve academic and social success. Licensure flexibility makes this an ideal position for experienced paras as well as those newer to the field who have a passion for student support. Your contributions will help foster a welcoming and effective classroom each day.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Paraprofessional or in a school support role is highly valued
  • Familiarity with behavior intervention strategies and positive reinforcement techniques
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and administration
  • Excellent communication skills, patience, and adaptability
  • Open to varying backgrounds and credentials, with flexibility on licensure

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the implementation of individualized behavior support plans within the classroom
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as directed
  • Aid teachers in classroom management and academic activities
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages student engagement and success
  • Monitor student progress and maintain necessary documentation
