Classroom Assistant | White Rock, New Mexico

Support students in achieving their fullest potential as a paraprofessional in a school setting near White Rock, NM. This full-time, contract opportunity features a streamlined 4-day work week, totaling 32 hours, allowing for exceptional work-life balance while making a meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed professionals—including VOCO facilitators, Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), Occupational Therapists (OTs), and Psychologists—by supporting student learning and development
• Prepare and organize classroom materials and learning activities under the guidance of lead educators
• Provide one-on-one and small group instructional support tailored to student needs
• Foster an inclusive environment while assisting students with classroom participation and daily routines
• Monitor student progress, document observations, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to adjust strategies as needed
• Help coordinate virtual and in-person services to ensure seamless delivery of special programs

Qualifications & Experience Desired:

• Previous experience working as a paraprofessional in schools or similar educational settings
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, dependable approach
• Comfort with technology, including facilitating virtual or remote services
• Adaptability to support a variety of students, including those with special needs
