Construction Site Fire Safety Managers

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily job site and public safety inspections to identify workplace hazards; implement preventive measures to eliminate accidents.   
• Conduct weekly safety meetings and “toolbox” meetings to train employees in the correct use of personal contractor and employee compliance with all applicable OSHA policies and regulations.   
• Wrote and maintained daily safety reports and logs.  
• Investigate and report accidents.   
• Maintain equipment certification records and inspection records. 

 

Specific Qualifications: 

• 62 Hour Supervisory SST Card (Site Safety Training Card)
• Construction Site Fire Safety Managers License 

 

Qualified Person for Site Safety (QPSS) - minimum requirements: 

• Supervisory SST Card
• 40 Hour Site Safety
• 32 Supported Scaffold
• 32 Suspended Scaffold
