Position: Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)
Schedule: Full Time
Pay Rate: $28.00–$34.00 per hour
Lake Eustis Healthcare & Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a full-time basis.
In this role, you will work alongside licensed Occupational Therapists and an interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide high-quality, individualized therapy services that help residents improve their functional abilities, independence, and quality of life.
ResponsibilitiesAssist the Occupational Therapist in implementing individualized treatment plans designed to improve residents' functional abilities and independence.
Guide residents through therapeutic exercises and activities of daily living (ADLs) to promote recovery and maximize independence.
Monitor resident progress and accurately document treatments and responses in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
Communicate effectively with Occupational Therapists, nursing staff, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
Ensure resident safety during therapy sessions while following all infection control and safety guidelines.
Maintain confidentiality of resident information in compliance with HIPAA and facility policies.
Foster a positive, encouraging environment that supports residents throughout their rehabilitation journey.
Current Florida Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) license required.
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
