Job Summary:
Homeside Rehab is seeking compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTAs) to join our Assisted Living Facility team in Pensacola, FL.

In this role, you will provide individualized, evidence-based therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, helping residents maintain independence, improve functional abilities, and enhance their overall quality of life.

• Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions under the direction and supervision of a licensed OT.

• Carry out established treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, balance, coordination, functional independence, and overall quality of life.

• Assist residents in maintaining independence and working toward their established functional goals.

• Monitor resident progress and communicate changes, concerns, and treatment responses to the supervising therapist.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all services provided in accordance with regulatory and facility requirements.

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated, effective, and resident-centered treatment.

• Communicate clearly with facility staff, residents, caregivers, and supervising therapists regarding progress and recommendations.

• Active Florida State Occupational Therapy Assistant License — required

• Basic computer proficiency for electronic documentation and clinical recordkeeping

• Strong clinical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with supervising therapists, facility staff, and the interdisciplinary care team

• Experience providing therapy services in Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Outpatient, or Home Health settings preferred

• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred

• Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care and promoting functional independence

• Job Type: Full-time, Part-time, Per Diem

• Location: Pensacola, FL

• Salary: $45 – $50 per hour

• Schedule Flexibility: Choose your own hours. Day and evening shifts are available Monday through Friday, with weekend availability as needed.
