About the Role

As a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping patients regain independence and improve their overall quality of life. In this per diem position, you will work closely with our occupational therapists to design and implement tailored therapy plans that address the unique needs of each patient. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping patients build strength, improve mobility, and develop the skills necessary to successfully manage daily activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist occupational therapists in the development and implementation of patient treatment plans

• Conduct occupational therapy treatments and interventions under the supervision of an occupational therapist

• Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatments and progress

Requirements

• Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) certification

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Flexibility to work per diem shifts, including evenings and weekends
