Construction Estimator

ServiceMASTER, a leader in the disaster restoration services, is seeking an Estimator for our Columbus, GA location. The ideal candidate will have residential insurance restoration (construction, smoke, fire, water damage) estimating experience in both mitigation and repairs. Come join our team today!Position includes a company vehicle.Salary is commensurate with experience and incentive plans are in place.DUTIESInspect losses, determine the appropriate scope of work, and write an estimate for a fire, water or construction loss utilizing Xactimate Estimating software and sometimes Symbility estimating software.Develop and maintain a business relationship with insurance adjusters Serve as primary liaison between the customer and insurance carrierManage the job update process using Xactanalysis and Dash platforms.Participate in on-call rotationWork with project managers to develop supplements as needed.Communicate with adjusters and team members to aid in job completion.QUALIFICATIONSMust be able to inspect losses in the field in potentially hazardous situations.Must be able to scope of loss with details needed to write a detailed estimate.Must have a knowledge of construction and fire and water damage mitigation. Good customer service skillsMust obtain a sense of urgency, problem solving and decision makingMust be familiar with Windows and Microsoft Office software, Xactimate, Symbility, Mica, and DashMust possess excellent written and verbal skillsWorking knowledge of basic office equipmentMust be able to learn and utilize our proprietary software; Dash and others as necessaryMust pass a pre-employment drug test and background checkMust have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record Please go to https://servicemasterjobs.applicantpro.com to apply.
