About the Role Vigeo Wellness is seeking a dependable, organized, and patient-focused Patient Care Coordinator (PCC) to join our Fort Worth team. The Patient Care Coordinator is often the first point of contact for our patients and plays an important role in creating a welcoming, organized, and professional experience from the first phone call through each office visit. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, stays organized in a fast-paced environment, communicates well, and is interested in developing a career in healthcare administration.
Responsibilities
● Greet patients and provide a welcoming, professional front-office experience.
● Check patients in and out for appointments.
● Answer incoming phone calls and respond to routine patient questions.
● Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.
● Maintain accurate patient demographic and insurance information.
● Collect copays and other patient payments when appropriate.
● Assist with routine insurance eligibility and benefits verification.
● Communicate patient financial responsibility information according to established workflows.
● Monitor front-office tasks, messages, and patient requests and ensure appropriate follow-up.
● Assist patients with paperwork, forms, and administrative questions.
● Coordinate with providers, Medical Assistants, Intake, Revenue Cycle, and other team members to resolve patient needs.
● Maintain accurate documentation of patient communications in the appropriate systems.
● Assist with appointment reminders and follow-up for missed or canceled appointments.
● Maintain an organized and professional reception and waiting area.
● Follow established patient privacy, confidentiality, and HIPAA requirements.
● Follow Vigeo Wellness policies, procedures, and front-office workflows.
● Assist with other patient-access and office responsibilities as needed.

Previous medical office, behavioral health, insurance verification, scheduling, or customer-service experience is helpful but not required for the right candidate.
