This flexible position offers the opportunity to work on an as-needed basis while helping residents maintain their independence, comfort, and quality of life in a welcoming, home-like environment. Position OverviewIn this role, you'll provide a combination of resident support, hospitality services, and personal care assistance. You'll interact closely with residents, helping create a safe, comfortable, and engaging atmosphere where they can thrive. Daily ResponsibilitiesAssist residents with personal care, hygiene, grooming, and other daily activitiesEncourage resident independence while providing assistance when neededSupport mobility, transfers, and ambulation in accordance with care plansServe meals, snacks, and beverages while promoting a positive dining experienceMonitor resident well-being and communicate concerns to nursing staffObtain and record vital signs, weights, and other assigned observationsAssist residents with medication self-administration according to established guidelinesComplete housekeeping, laundry, and organizational tasks within resident apartments and common areasAssist with meal preparation, baking, and other kitchen-related dutiesContribute to a clean, safe, and welcoming living environmentWork collaboratively with nursing staff and fellow team members to support resident-centered care.All other duties as assigned. QualificationsRequiredCurrent CNA certification1 – 2 years of CNA experience in assisted living, long-term care, or hospital settingsBLS and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtainPreferredHigh school diploma or equivalentSkills & AttributesAbility to work independently and make sound decisions while supporting residents in an assisted living environment. Comfortable working one-on-one with residents and managing responsibilities with minimal direct supervision.Dependable and self-motivatedStrong customer service and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamCompassionate approach to caring for older adultsCommitment to resident dignity, safety, and quality of lifePhysical ExpectationsFrequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and liftingAbility to safely move or assist patients using proper techniques and equipmentCapability to respond quickly during emergency situationsAbility to lift, transfer, push, or pull up to 75 pounds as neededAbility to safely assist residents with mobility and daily care activitiesAbility to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation PRN RequirementsPRN team members enjoy scheduling flexibility while remaining active members of our care team.
