PIT Forklift Operator | 4-Day Workweek | Paid Training!

Location: Aberdeen, MD
Job Type: Full-Time, Long-Term Opportunity
Pay: $19.00/hour + $3.00/hour Weekend Differential

We're hiring experienced Forklift Operators for a fast-paced distribution center in Aberdeen, MD. If you have sit-down forklift experience and a strong safety mindset, we'll provide paid clamp truck training to help you expand your skills and grow your career.

Schedule & Pay

Work 4 Days Per Week (10-Hour Shifts)

Available Schedules:

Sunday - Wednesday | 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Wednesday - Saturday | 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Required Training Schedule (Week 1):

Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Attendance during training is mandatory.

Responsibilities

Operate electric sit-down forklifts and clamp trucks (training provided)
Move, load, and secure large or oversized products
Transport freight safely throughout the warehouse
Use RF scanners to track inventory and product movement
Meet safety, quality, and productivity standards
Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications

Required:

At least 1 year of recent sit-down forklift experience
Valid Driver's License
Ability to pass an on-site forklift driving test
Ability to pass a safety training pre-test
Comfortable operating equipment in reverse
Ability to lift 20-50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally
Steel-toe boots required
Strong attendance record and commitment to safety

Preferred:

Clamp truck experience
Experience with push/pull attachments, slip-sheet equipment, or similar material handling equipment
RF scanner experience
Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience
