Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient

Location: Carbondale, Illinois

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, day shifts

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 - $38.5 per hour

• Implement individualized treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Provide evidence-based interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, and endurance
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and safety precautions
• Collaborate with the rehab team to deliver quality patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation per clinic and regulatory standards

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License
• Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current CPR/BLS Certification (if required by clinic)
• Outpatient experience preferred but not required
• Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

• Physical therapy techniques and patient care
• Documentation and compliance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• CPR/BLS certified
