Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

• Provide high-quality physical therapy services to patients in a mental health setting
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, and function
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Document patient progress accurately and timely
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and home care strategies

• Active Physical Therapist license in California (or compact privilege)
• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
• At least 1 year of recent experience in an inpatient or mental health setting preferred
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Knowledge of evidence-based practices in physical therapy
• Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and unit priorities
