Job Summary:
Aspire Senior Living New Florence is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team! Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Responsibilities:
Assist occupational therapists in the delivery of occupational therapy services to residents, including evaluation, treatment planning, and implementation
Conduct daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address resident needs and goals
Participate in interprofessional team meetings to discuss resident progress and develop effective care plans
Maintain accurate records of resident progress and treatment plans
Collaborate with families and caregivers to educate them on resident care and treatment plans

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification active in the state of Missouri
Previous experience as a COTA or related field preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices
