Responsibilities:

• Assist occupational therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for residents
• Conduct occupational therapy sessions, as directed by occupational therapists, to promote independence, safety, and well-being
• Use assistive technology and adaptive equipment to facilitate resident participation in activities and improve functional abilities
• Document resident progress, treatment plans, and interactions with other healthcare professionals
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care and support
• Maintain a safe and organized treatment environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols

Requirements:

• Current certification as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in the state of [insert state]
