Asphalt Plant Groundman – Davis, OK2401 S. Broadway Ave., Moore, OK 73160, USA • Full-TimeJoin Silver Star Construction!Silver Star Construction is a local heavy highway construction company looking for a dependable Asphalt Plant Groundman to support daily operations at our asphalt plant in Davis, OK. This position will assist with general plant upkeep, equipment maintenance, greasing, labor tasks, and operating various types of equipment to help keep production running safely and efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine maintenance, lubrication, and minor repairs on plant equipment.Operate equipment including Bobcat/skid steer, man lift, water truck, and haul truck.Complete equipment inspections before and after use and maintain accurate documentation.Keep the asphalt plant and surrounding work areas clean, organized, and free of debris.Assist with general labor and plant-related duties as assigned.Identify equipment issues or unsafe conditions and report them promptly.Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and required practices.Skills & AbilitiesStrong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.Good organization and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.Ability to recognize potential safety hazards, equipment problems, and maintenance needs.Dependable work ethic and willingness to take initiative.Ability to work independently while also supporting the plant team.QualificationsValid driver's license with a satisfactory driving history.Must successfully complete a background check, drug screening, and physical.Comfortable working outside in extreme weather conditions, including high heat and cold temperatures.Available to work nights, weekends, and extended hours as project and production needs require.Able to safely perform physically demanding work, including shoveling, sweeping, lifting, and jackhammer operation.Willingness to learn and operate various types of construction equipment.Must consistently follow safety standards and company procedures.What We OfferCompetitive PayMedical, Vision & Dental InsuranceLife InsuranceShort-Term Disability401(k)Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)Company BenefitsAnd More!Apply Today!EOE – All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply!Apply in person at 220 Industrial Blvd., Moore, OK 73160, apply online at silverstarconst.com, or call (405) 317-7680 for assistance.Build your future with Silver Star Construction!
