About the Role:
Tersteeg Transport Inc is looking for a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join their team in Olivia, MN! • This position is 100% local hauling and would be home daily. 
• Hour of work will vary depending on customer demand. There is no minimum or maximum of guaranteed hours per workweek. 

Salary:

• Yearly - $90,000 - $120,000
• Paid Bi-weekly 

Responsibilities:

• Operate commercial truck to transport and deliver freight safely and on schedule
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance
• Maintain accurate driver logs and records in accordance with FMCSA regulations
• Unload cargo as needed
• Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding routes, delays, and delivery status
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic and transportation laws
• Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle at all times

Requirements:

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A)
• Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safety
• Must be 21 + 
• Must be able to operate a live bottom/ belt trailer (experience with operation of belt trailer is appreciated)
• Manual transmission certified 
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) rules
• Ability to operate and maneuver large commercial vehicles in various conditions
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen 
• Previous commercial driving experience preferred
